MENU

For breakfast there is a range of cereals for the children to choose from, toast with choice of toppings, fruit, and milk or water.

Lunch, snacks and teas are chosen with the children through conversations and looking through recipe books. We plan these on a weekly or fortnightly menu and like to try a varied range of foods. 

The above pictures have an example of what some of our meals may be.

If a child doesn't like a meal an alternative is provided and the menu can be altered.

​

I also work with parents to ensure meals are suitable for different allergies and cultural factors.

​

The children are involved in creating the menu, preparing the meals and cooking under supervision. I have a planting area outside where we grow and pick our own vegetables and salads for our meals and we include lots of baking activities that are then used for snacks and deserts.
