Finalist for Individual childminder of the year award 2025

So whilst we were away this weekend. I happened to pop on for 10 minutes whilst the girls napped before our hiking adventure 🚶and recieved a shock😳.

I'd being tagged in a few posts so had a quick glance only to find out iv being shortlisted for the individual childminder of the year award in the nursery world awards 2025🌟.

What a complete unexpected surprising honour. I feel shocked and overwhelmed to have made the shortlist and recognised in an area filled with dedicated passionate early years practitioners who go above and beyond for their mindees and families ensuring the children in their care get the best start to life.

Everyone knows I live and breath my work and the children and families very much become family not clients to me.

For me the greatest award is getting to be a part of their lives and that for many they become family for life. They return years later with their girlfriends to introduce to us, they plan holidays with us, they invite us to birthdays. Getting recognised for this amazing award is just a bonus.

And a huge congratulations to the Other amazing Childminders shortlisted Iv seen myself what great things some of these Childminders do in their settings too. And a reminder that awards or not, all Childminders are superheros. 🦸🦸
